Pastor Stephen R. Ricketts
Since July 1, 2009, Stephen R. Ricketts has been serving as pastor of Providence - Fort Washington United Methodist Church.
Stephen Ricketts served under appointment for eight years at the Damascus Cooperative Parish as the associate pastor of Damascus United Methodist Church and as the campus pastor of Clarksburg United Methodist Church.
He has served in the following organizations within the Baltimore-Washington Conference:

The Committee on Nominations
He was commissioned in 2001, and ordained an Elder in 2004.
Stephen graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1979 and earned a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Computer Science.

Pastor Stephen is married to Alice McCord Ricketts, and together they have four children, Debbie Ricketts, Stephen Andrew Ricketts, Susan Ewing, and Robert Ricketts.
